Pinch Me.. I Must Be Dreaming..!!
And the big day has arrived.. So this happened in the last week of March, 2017.. Remade In India, a tiny store on Indiranagar’s CMH Road, is featuring my Artwork. Yayy..!! You heard that right.. I was all soooper excited..

“why don’t you feature some of your artworks in my store”?
Me : Is this for real?? (*happy and surprised face*) Wow.. Did i just heard it right.. Yes yes (*Jumps out of excitement*)..!! I would love to.. Who would not want their work to be showcased in such art stores?? This was one of such blessed days when i feel everything is just perfect.. Ohh i love these days.. I fall in love with the Universe all over again..!! A ray of hope.. When such people actually adore your art and believe in you.. A proud moment to an Artist.. 🙂
Avinash : So, when will you get your art??
Me : Wow..!!(*Dread and excited*) Sure.. Will drop by your place with some interesting art shortly.
This store stocks everything from funky espadrilles to hip stationery, but everything is up-cycled and made from scrap literally. So this was not less than a challenge to me, I had to think something which is up-cycled and use my art.
Being a full time Content Editor, You hardly get time in the week days to think and create art. But to the level of my excitement.. This hardly counted (Hehe..)
In just couple of days time, I managed to make 3 artworks. It was soo much fun, thrilled and a very great experience to me working on this project themed “Up-cycled”
So this finally happened on 8th of April 2017, My Paintings were finally put up and exhibited in the store!! That feeling.. I would never forget.. This being my first time in such a great platform.. Butterflies in my stomach just looking at my Paintings on the wall of the store.
And just to add sspice to the situation.. Yesterday i.e on 16th of May, got a message saying, one of my paintings is sold out and bought by a Foreigner.. Isn’t that a great news?!! Right after getting that message, At 3freakinAM, *wide awake* and blogging with the 3AM thought process.
That feeling of accomplishment welled up inside of me. Being finished with something you really dread doing. It worked..!!
The small wins, The tiny triumphs, And the everyday victories.. Celebrate them!!
A small victory.. Is still a victory.. 🙂
